THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CALLABURN (*G Dookhit) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) UNSOLVED RIDDLE (*T Mayhew) over-raced in the early and middle stages, proving difficult to assist. As a consequence, this gelding raced wide around the turn and into the straight. b) At approximately the 250m, CARNELO (*I Taka), which had come to the end of its run, was steadied when awkwardly placed between FLAG BEARER (*G Samo-Burthia) and LIBECCIO (*N Nastili), which was switched out off the heels of PERINI PALACE (*B Plaatjies) to continue its run. Apprentice N Nastili (LIBECCIO) appeared before the Board and was advised to take more care when shifting ground in races. c) LADY SABRINA (*K J Lihaba), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer W Marwing, acting on behalf of Trainer W H Marwing, was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) PERINI PALACE new ownership: TKP Racing (Nom: Trevelen Pillay), C De Wet, J C W Visser, Mrs M Stapelberg, Rudi Govender and Remona Valayatham, colours: White, sapphire epaulettes, collar, armbands and cuffs, quartered cap (Sold with engagement). b) PERINI PALACE raced without blinkers (declared 3 June 2025 at 10H26) and with alumites (declared 3 June 2025 at 10H32).
