THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RACHEL WALL (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) ALTA CAPITANA (R Fourie)jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 1200m, LIMERICK LACE (C Murray), which commenced to over-race, clipped the heels of BACK FROM WAR (M Yeni). b) In view of the performance of LIMERICK LACE (C Murray), (distance 28/10 lengths, betting 7,45), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey C Murray was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (Appendix E read with Guideline 3 on the use of the crop) in that he misused his crop by striking LIMERICK LACE forward of the saddle in the concluding stages. Jockey C Murray signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000. d) PRINCESS KEIRA (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
