THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LET'S GO NOW (C Zackey), INFINITE WONDER (K A Brewer) and LA MOOHAL (J Penny) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) THE EQUATOR (IRE) was selected for the taking of specimens for TCO2 testing. The first specimen revealed a level of over 36 TCO2 mmol/L. Trainer A P Peter was advised that, in terms of the Procedure for Total Carbon Dioxide (TCO2) analysis on Raceday, a second blood specimen would be collected. Trainer A P Peter was informed that the second blood specimen had revealed a level above the threshold of 38 mmol/L and that consequently THE EQUATOR (IRE) was scratched from this race in terms of the provisions of Rules 72.1.23; 4.2.14 and 4.2.18 (Withdrawn at 15H37, 4/1 in the betting).
