THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RACEWAY (M Yeni) was stubborn to load. Trainer F Bronkhorst will be advised to reschool this filly. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start WISHUPONANANGEL (D Daniels) and INVICTUS JET (P Mxoli) came together and brushed. b) RACEWAY (M Yeni) hung in from the 450m. c) At the 300m INVICTUS JET (P Mxoli) was switched in to avoid the heels of KAPTURE THE PEACE (K Matsunyane), which rolled out marginally. d) WISHUPONANANGEL (D Daniels) raced green. e) Jockey A Fortune signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention of Rule 58.10.2., Appendix E, (Guideline 3), in that he mis-used his crop by striking MOSCOW MISS forward of the saddle in the latter stages. Accordingly a penalty of a fine of R1000 was imposed. f) MOSCOW MISS (A Fortune), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Y Govender was advised (SP).
