THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SUN IN MY POCKET (D Daniels) was fractious in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) A race review was called into the Start of this Race where it was established that SUN IN MY POCKET (D Daniels) which became restless, leant onto the right side partition and jumped awkwardly leaving the starting stalls. This resulted in Jockey D Daniels being unbalanced and unseated from SUN IN MY POCKET. The Board, after interviewing Jockey D Daniels, as well as the Starters, and after reviewing the patrol film, established that Jockey D Daniels had been prepared for the start to be effected and that the incident was due to this filly's behaviour. Consequently SUN IN MY POCKET was declared to be a runner. b) In view of the Starter's report with regard to SUN IN MY POCKET (T Godden), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion on a race day. Suspension dates: 12.06.2025 to the 18.06.2025. SUN IN MY POCKET may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer W Whitehead was advised. (SL) c) At the 100m PRINCE FLORIAN (C Zackey) was directed inwards away from the riderless SUN IN MY POCKET. d) PRINCE FLORIAN (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Kannemeyer was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey D Schwarz (THE GOLDEN GOAL) weighed out at 56.6kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) MUZZLE FLASH : Returned post-race having cast the right front shoe. SCRATCHINGS : a) CAPTAIN CLEVER : Cast in box (Trainer - 11.08.2025/07h49). Rule 53.5 applies.
