THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) HARPA (S Hlengwa), INFINITY EDGE (*J Botes), BOOKWORM (J Jacobs), SPANISH FEUD (A Mgudlwa) and SALLY PORT (D Daniels) lost one length.
b) CARTEL QUEEN (C Habib) was stubborn to load.
c) SNEEUWITJIE (S Khumalo) refused to load and was withdrawn.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a) WATER HYACINTH (M Thackeray) and INFINITY EDGE (*J Botes) came together and made contact on two occasions shortly after the start.
b) HARPA (S Hlengwa), DANCEWITHDIAMONDS (C Little) and CARTEL QUEEN (C Habib) raced green.
c) WORLD OF FLOWERS (N Patel) raced green and hung in from the 250m.
d) INFINITY EDGE (*J Botes) raced green and hung in, in the concluding stages.
e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to SNEEUWITJIE (S Khumalo) this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 15.06.25 to the 21.06.25. SNEEUWITJIE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer M Prinsloo was advised. (SN)
f) Trainer Y Govender signed an admission of guilt for a contravention of Rule 39.7.5, in that he failed to vaccinate WORLD OF FLOWERS against Equine Influenza in accordance with the programme of vaccination as published from time to time in the Racing Calendar. A penalty of a fine of R1000 was imposed.
g) INFINITY EDGE (*J Botes), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer C Eudey acting on behalf of Trainer M Miller was advised (DZ).
JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a) SNEEUWITJIE was ridden by Jockey S Khumalo. Reserve runner (advised 14.06.25/7h23).
b) WATER HYACINTH raced with an alumite bar shoe right front (advised 11.06.25/8h40).
