THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BRUH (A Fortune) was stubborn to load. b) OMNIA (T Godden) reared on one occasion in the stalls. c) PEMBURY (C Zackey) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) As the start was effected PEMBURY (C Zackey) was brushed out by BRUH (A Fortune) which jumped outwards leaving the starting stalls. b) GOOD OMEN (K Matsunyane) jumped outwards leaving the starting stalls and as a consequence raced wide and without cover around the turn and into the straight. c) PINETTI (S Moodley) proved difficult to settle in the early stages. d) CALM COWBOY (P Mxoli) commenced to give ground to the field from the 350m and was not persevered with in the concluding stages. Thereafter Jockey P Mxoli reported that this colt did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report regarding CALM COWBOY, this colt is suspended in terms of Rule 49.7 and a Veterinary Certificate is required prior to racing. Trainer K Naidoo will be advised. f) ZIYAN'S PRIDE (M V'Rensburg), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer T Ryan acting on behalf of Trainer M J Odendaal was advised (NS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) OMNIA raced fitted with alumites in front, unshod behind (advised 16.06.2025/08h38). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) CALM COWBOY : Nothing obvious detected. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS : DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER: a) None.
