DURING THE LOADING PROCESS, PALACE REVOLT (P MXOLI) BECAME RESTLESS AND BROKE THROUGH THE FRONT OF THE STALLS. SIMULTANEOUSLY LONELY AS A CLOUD (*M MBUTO) WAS SUBJECT TO A LATE VETERINARY EXAMINATION, PASSED FIT TO RACE AND RELOADED. PALACE REVOLT (P MXOLI) WAS RESTRAINED BY THE RIDER, RETURNED TO THE START, EXAMINED BY THE VETERINARY SURGEON, DECLARED FIT TO RACE AND RELOADED. THESE INCIDENTS CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) During the loading process, PALACE REVOLT (P Mxoli) broke through the front gate. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer F Bronkhorst was advised (GT). b) BLAZE A WAY (M Yeni) and CIAN THE CONQUEROR (M van Rensburg) were slow losing one length. Race 6 contd. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In the concluding stages, RAINING RUBIES (J R Syster) was steadied when awkwardly placed between PRINCE OF KILDARE (S Khumalo) and IT'S PERSONAL (C Habib), which commenced to hang in. b) Jockey M Yeni reported that BLAZE A WAY made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. c) Jockey D Schwarz reported that he felt something amiss with WHAT A TIGER in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. d) Jockey M van Rensburg reported that CIAN THE CONQUEROR made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. e) Jockey P Mxoli reported that PALACE REVOLT did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. f) Apprentice T Mayhew reported that SPIRITED GIRL took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. g) In view of the Starter's report with regard to PALACE REVOLT, this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn, and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 20 June 2025 to 26 June 2025. PALACE REVOLT may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer F Bronkhorst was advised. h) VIBE SA (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A P Peter advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) ROCK OF BISMANTOVA raced equipped with alumites (declared 18 June 2025 at 09H00). THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) BLAZE A WAY examined post race, nothing obvious detected. b) WHAT A TIGER not striding out left hind; blowing post race. c) CIAN THE CONQUEROR coughing post race; cut on the left nostril. d) PALACE REVOLT abnormal respiratory noise. e) SPIRITED GIRL coughing post race. f) RAINING RUBIES abnormal respiratory noise.
