THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) K M V RETROFIT (*S Valjalo) hung out throughout. b) CHICAGO LASS (K Matsunyane) commenced to give ground to the field from the 500m and was not persevered with from the 150m. Thereafter Jockey K Matsunyane reported that this mare took no interest in the running. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report regarding CHICAGO LASS, this mare is suspended in terms of Rule 49.7 and a Veterinary Certificate is required prior to racing.
