THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DOUBLE OLYMPIC (*G Samo-Burthia) lost 1 length. b) ATTABOY (*N Nastili) lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) DOUBLE OLYMPIC (*G Samo-Burthia) over raced in the early and middle stages, was difficult to assist and had difficulty negotiating the turn. b) Leaving the 1000m KIMBALL O'HARA (*S Valjalo) which over-raced in the early stages, was inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the inside of LAKE COMO (*G Dookhit) and close to the heels of THESUPERNOVASTAR (*K J Lihaba). c) Approaching the 150m LAKE COMO (*G Dookhit) was carried in by KIMBALL O'HARA (*S Valjalo) which was directed to the inside of MESSALINA (*T Mayhew) to continue its run. As a consequence LAKE COMO (*G Dookhit) was eased when close to the heels of THESUPERNOVASTAR (*K J Lihaba). d) Apprentice S Valjalo was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.7 in that she as the rider of KIMBALL O'HARA failed to ensure that she did not cause interference to the horse LAKE COMO (*G Dookhit) at the 300m. Apprentice S Valjalo signed an admission of guilt for a suspension from riding in races for a period of seven days. (Suspension dates : 30.06.2025 - 06.07.2025 bdi). e) In view of the performance of SOLDIER BOY (*J Botes) (3.65 lengths, 5/2 in the betting), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) Apprentice V Jodhee (SAIL TO THE MOON) completed a satisfactory qualifying ride. g) RALPH THE RASCAL (*B Plaatjies), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
