THE STARTER REPORTED: a) HEROIC ACT (C Zackey) and GOLD DE GRACE (*G Samo-Burthia) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) QUELLO CHE (M K Katjedi) commenced to give ground to the field from the 600m. Thereafter, Jockey M K Katjedi reported that this filly took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) GOLD DE GRACE (*G Samo-Burthia), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C I Jonker advised (MS). When questioned regarding the improved performance of this filly, Trainer C I Jonker could offer the Board no suitable explanation. His attention was drawn to the Rules pertaining to In and Out running.
