THE STARTER REPORTED: a) POMODORO MAGIC (*J Botes) was stubborn loading. b) SILVA CITY (A Fortune) jumped awkwardly. c) SPOIL YOURSELF (C Little), KILMONIVAIG (X Ndlovu) and BENEATH THE MOON (C Maujean) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) HER ROYALTY (L Mxothwa) stumbled shortly after the start. b) SPOIL YOURSELF (C Little) was directed outwards to obtain clear running at the 250m. c) KILMONIVAIG (X Ndlovu) was directed inwards to obtain clear running at the 150m. d) HER ROYALTY (L Mxothwa) had to steady off the heels of POMODORO MAGIC (*J Botes), which shifted slightly inwards at the 100m. e) Jockey C Zackey reported that JADE'S CABERNEIGH did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. Assistant Trainer FJ Jacobs was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this mare on her return to the stables. f) Jockey X Ndlovu reported that KILMONIVAIG made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.
