THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, CONCORDIA (S Moodley), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls, was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of ZAHRA DOMINIA (J Penny). b) In view of the performance of AMAZE ME (K Matsunyane), (distance 6,90 lengths, betting 20/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) Jockey G Lerena reported that DELAWARE RIVER made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) SALT LAKE CITY (K A Brewer), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer M Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer A P Peter, was advised (MS). When questioned regarding the improved performance of this filly, Assistant Trainer M Peter could offer the Board no suitable explanation. His attention was drawn to the Rules pertaining to In and Out running. JOCKEY CHANGES: a) ZAHRA DOMINIA was ridden by Jockey J Penny (declared 18 July 2025 at 11H28).
