THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AMANATTO (R Fourie) jumped awkwardly. b) WELSH STARLET (*B Plaatjies) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) FANTASY GIRL (K Minnie) stumbled shortly after the start. b) WELSH STARLET (*B Plaatjies) was steadied on the inside of JUST FOR U (L Mxothwa), which jumped inwards shortly after the start. c) GENTEEL (*N Nastili) was hanging in from the 300m. d) JUST FOR U (L Mxothwa) was hanging in from the 200m. e) AMANATTO (R Fourie) and BEACH QUEEN (C Maujean) came together and brushed at approximately the 150m. f) Jockey C Habib reported that BATTLE OF BRITAIN made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
