ERUPTION INTHE SKY (M Thackeray) and SHEEZAROCKET (R A Venniker) refused to load and were subsequently withdrawn by the Starter. This caused a delay to the start of this race.
THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) SHEEZAROCKET (R A Venniker) and ERUPTION INTHE SKY (M Thackeray) refused to load.
b) SKIPPER O'MALLEY (D Daniels) and HARPA (T Godden) lost 1 length.
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED :
a) STYLE ICON (*M Mbuto) over-raced in the early stages.
b) ECHO (*D D Louw) raced wide on the turn and into the straight.
c) At the 250m SKIPPER O'MALLEY (D Daniels) was inconvenienced on the outside of the heels of STYLE ICON (*M Mbuto) which hung out from the 400m and shifted out.
d) HARPA (T Godden) hung out in the final straight.
e) In view of the performance of SWIFTY LINN (C F Dicken) which commenced to give ground to the field from the 200m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
f) In view of the Starter's report with regard to SHEEZAROCKET (R A Venniker), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 31.07.2025 to the 06.08.2025. SHEEZAROCKET may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer D I Campbell will be advised.
g) In view of the Starter's report with regard to ERUPTION INTHE SKY (M Thackeray), this filly's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 31.07.2025 to the 06.08.2025. ERUPTION INTHE SKY may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer S S Ngcobo will be advised.
