THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RUN THE WORLD (K Matsunyane) and TOP GUN (M Yeni) lost one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Between the 450m and 250m, MASTER JOSH (J Gates) was carried out by GO GRAYSON GO (S Moodley) which hung out. Thereafter, at the 200m, GO GRAYSON GO (S Moodley) was carried in by MASTER JOSH (J Gates) which commenced to hang in. b) Shortly before the finish, SOLAR SAIL (J Penny) was directed inwards away from the heels of COPPOLA (T Godden). c) Jockey C Murray reported that he felt something amiss with BEACH PALACE in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) MASTER JOSH (J Gates), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Y Singh was advised (SP).
