The start of this Race was delayed due to the late scratching of SOMEONE EXCITING en route to the start by the Veterinary Surgeon. PINK CADILLAC hesitated, then jumped outwards sharply, dislodging Jockey Moodley. Jockey de Melo, the rider of MORE THAN A DIME, accidentally dropped his right side rein at the 50m which he re-gained at the finish. In view of the Starter's report with regard to PINK CADILLAC, this mare's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion on a race day. PINK CADILLAC may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer Whitehead was advised. DIAMONDSANDPEARLS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Scratched: MOCHA ROSE - lame left fore; withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. SOMEONE EXCITING - lame right fore; withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon.
