THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DESTINY OF FIRE (C Murray) was stubborn loading. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Assistant Trainer P Dlhamini was advised (GT). b) HIERKOMMIEBOKKIE (*T Mayhew) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ACROSS THE POND (P Mxoli) proved reluctant to canter to the start. Trainer S J Gray will be advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future, it may be suspended. b) Shortly after the start, PALACE DANCER (C Habib) was bumped by HIERKOMMIEBOKKIE (*T Mayhew), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) In view of the performance of WAY TO BURN (*M Mbuto), (distance 18,50 lengths, betting 25/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey C Little reported that ONE FELL SWOOP made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) In view of the Starter's report with regard to DESTINY OF FIRE, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn, and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 24 August 2025 to 30 August 2025. DESTINY OF FIRE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Assistant Trainer P Dlhamini was advised. f) DESTINY OF FIRE (C Murray), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Matthew de Kock advised (SM). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: None. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) WAY TO BURN abnormal respiratory noise and blowing post race. b) ONE FELL SWOOP examined post race, nothing obvious detected. c) HIERKOMMIEBOKKIE fatigued.
