PLEASED TO MEET YOU was restless in the stalls and as a consequence PRINCESS REBEL became restless and made contact with the front of the starting stalls, was unloaded, examined by the course veterinary surgeon, passed fit to race and reloaded. MACHIAVELLI jumped slow, losing one length. The start of this race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race and when PRINCESS REBEL became fractious in the stalls, made contact with the front of the stalls, had to be taken out, examined by the veterinary surgeon and reloaded. In view of the performance of PLEASEDTOMEETYOU, which tired quickly in the latter stages, the veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Approaching the 200m, KASIMIR switched in off the heels of RUN FOX RUN (AUS) to continue its run. RUSSET AIR and OLD RESPECT were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MACHIAVELLI raced with a tongue tie. Vet: PACIFIC TRADER - not striding out. PLEASEDTOMEETYOU - not striding out. PRINCESS REBEL - blood in mouth.
