THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ARILENA (J Gates) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) VALIEVA (S Moodley) jumped outwards, making contact with the left side front gate, leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, GLOBAL THUNDER (C Habib) was buffeted between NEERAH (P Mxoli) and ARILENA (J Gates), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) NEERAH (P Mxoli) took a number of awkward strides in the concluding stages. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) In view of the performance of GLOBAL THUNDER (C Habib), (distance 9,80 lengths, betting 7/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) VALIEVA (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
