THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GARDEN OF EDEN (C Little) jumped inwards and made contact with SHESGOTCLASS (G van Niekerk). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start MUSIC OF THE NIGHT (M Yeni) rolled in and had to be steadied away from the heels of GIRL LIKE US (D Ashby). b) Leaving the 1000m WANDER DUNE (AUS) (C Orffer) raced onto the heels of GARDEN OF EDEN (C Little) and had to be steadied briefly. c) Leaving the 300m WILD APPLAUSE (JP van der Merwe) was switched in away from the heels of a tiring GARDEN OF EDEN (C Little). d) In view of the performance of GARDEN OF EDEN (C Little), which raced at the front of the field in the early stages and tired from the 300m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) In view of the performance of LHASA (S Veale), which was hanging out throughout, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) GIRL LIKE US, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
