THE STARTER REPORTED: a) QUEENSLAND (M Yeni) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) RACEWAY (S Moodley) hung in from the 600m to the 200m. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. When taking into consideration RACEWAY'S history of hanging in in races, Trainer F Bronkhorst was advised to take the necessary corrective measures to improve this filly's racing manners. b) MRS WONDERFUL (J Gates) commenced to give ground to the field from the 200m. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Apprentice S Valjalo reported that CHILLI MARMALADE did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey L Nhlapo reported that he felt something amiss with HURRICANE POWER in running.
