THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ERIK'S GIRL (*G Samo-Burthia) and VAMANOS (G Lerena) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) TIPPERARY (C Habib) raced wide around the turn, into the straight and thereafter took a number of awkward strides in the concluding stages. In view of this performance, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) The saddle on GO GET UR ARMOR (*S Valjalo) slipped forward at approximately 1000m, which placed Apprentice S Valjalo at a severe disadvantage and precluded her from riding this filly out to the end of the race. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine.
