THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In view of the performance of CITY OF LOVE (M Yeni) which over-raced in the early stages and thereafter hung out from the 350m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) In view of the performance of BURNING MAN (C Murray) which tired rapidly in the concluding stages and was not persevered with, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. The Stipendiary Board has exercised the provisions of Rule 49.7, and this gelding is suspended pending a Veterinary Certificate prior to its next racing engagement. c) REGENERATION (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
