NYAKASANGA (ZIM) rushed the front gates, resulting in the handler allocated to this filly bumping the front gate open. NYAKASANGA (ZIM) was restrained by the handler, returned to the start, inspected by the veterinary surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded. Subsequently STORM REPORT, JESSE MCGEE and ROCK YOU proved stubborn loading. These incidents caused a delay to the start of this Race. During the loading process NYAKASANGA (ZIM) rushed into the stalls and nudged the handler into the front gate, resulting in the front gate opening and NYAKASANGA (ZIM) going through. NYAKASANGA (ZIM) was restrained, returned to the start, inspected by the Veterinary Surgeon, declared fit to race and reloaded. STORM REPORT and ROCK YOU were stubborn loading. Trainer Dawson and Assistant Trainer Moore were advised to reschool their respective horses prior to their next engagement. JESSE MCGEE was stubborn loading and thereafter lost 1 length. BRITANNIA QUEEN lost 1 length. JESSE MCGEE was hanging out throughout. ST JOSEPH'S LILY raced green around the turn. BRITANNIA QUEEN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. When afforded the opportunity to explain the improved performance of BRITANNIA QUEEN, Trainer B Webber explained that in this filly's run on the 8th of August 2019 the work rider had encouraged BRITANNIA QUEEN forward to such an extent that when asked to quicken, BRITANNIA QUEEN had failed to do so and had instead compounded from the 400m. The Board reviewed this filly's run on the 8th of August 2019, which corroborated Trainer Webber's explanation. CLIFTON COUGAR raced in Club colours. Vet: PASCHALS SAMORE - scalped left hind.
