THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SHEEZAROCKET (R Venniker), GORGEOUS BOMB (A Mgudlwa) and MS GALORE (K Matsunyane) lost two lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) GORGEOUS BOMB (A Mgudlwa) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) Shortly after the start, MS GALORE (K Matsunyane) was bumped by SPANISH FEUD (C Murray) which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. Shortly thereafter, SPANISH FEUD (C Murray) which was directed inwards away from MS GALORE (K Matsunyane), clipped the heels of TAKATALVI (S Hlengwa). c) Jockey C Habib reported that QUEEN OF THE AIR choked up in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the performance of PEGGY SUE SHAKE (S Veale) (21.35 lengths, 66/1 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) Jockey S Moodley was charged with a contravention of Rule 62.2.11, in that he as a rider of MISS TWINKLE, made contact with this filly's left ear in a celebratory gesture shortly before the finish. Jockey S Moodley signed an admission of guilt and was fined R2500 of which R1500 is suspended for a period of two (2) years on condition that he is not found guilty of a contravention of this Rule during the suspension period. f) MISS TWINKLE (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
