THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MONEY EXTRACTOR (S Moodley) jumped inwards and made contact with the hindquarters of BENEATH THE CLOUDS (C Murray). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) PRINCESS OF BAYEUX (*B Plaatjies) was hanging in between the 400m and the 150m. b) Apprentice S Bungane (WEHAVEASITUATION) dropped his crop at the 250m. c) Trainer D McLachlan was charged with a contravention of Rule 55.1.2 read with Local Condition 5.1.3 in that he failed to declare a Rider for DOUBLE DASH by two hours of the closing of declarations. Trainer D McLachlan signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1 000.00. d) PRINCESS OF BAYEUX, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer VH Marshall was advised.
