THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GREEN MACHINE (J R Syster) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) ERROL FLYNN (C Zackey) and TEXAS MISSILE (C Habib) were slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, TEXAS MISSILE (C Habib) was bumped out by GREEN MACHINE (J R Syster), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. As a consequence, Jockey J R Syster (GREEN MACHINE) briefly lost the footing to his left-side stirrup iron. b) ERROL FLYNN (C Zackey) hung in from the 200m and took an awkward stride shortly before the finish line. Thereafter, Jockey C Zackey reported that this colt did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Jockey S Moodley (TALKOFTHEHEIGHTS) did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. Thereafter, Jockey S Moodley reported that this colt did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Apprentice T Mayhew reported that WAR OF WONDERS took no interest in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) ONE EYE ON VEGAS (C Murray), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Matthew de Kock advised (MS).
