THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FRERE JACQUES (K Matsunyane) was restless in the stalls. b) READ ALL ABOUT IT (C Murray) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) COMING IN HOT (S Moodley) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Shortly after the start, ZIP CODE (C Habib) was awkwardly placed between READ ALL ABOUT IT (C Murray), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls, and COMING IN HOT (S Moodley), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) Jockey J R Syster (RYANS BOULEVARD) did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. Thereafter, J R Syster reported that this gelding did not stride out freely in running.
