THE STARTER REPORTED: a) CALL ME SECRET (C Little) and MISS SMILEY (C Orffer) jumped slow, losing one length. b) MALIBU BLITZ (C Murray) jumped outwards. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) STORMIN ATTACK (*G Samo-Burthia) raced wide on the turn and into the straight. b) At the 300m TAKE THAT (L Mxothwa) was carried out by RUBY REX (A Domeyer), which was hanging out and shifted out. Jockey A Domeyer appeared before the Board and was advised to take stronger corrective measures to keep his mounts on a straight course in similar circumstances. c) In view of the performance of STARTING POINT (R Fourie), which was hanging out in the straight, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) CALL OF THE KAROO, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
