THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) En-route to the start, FAR BEYOND (P Mxoli) cast its left front shoe, which was attended to by the course Farrier. FAR BEYOND was examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and passed suitable to race. b) At the 200m FAR BEYOND (P Mxoli), which shifted out away from the crop and MME HUNTRESS (C Zackey), which shifted in away from the crop, came together and brushed. c) Shortly before the finish, MME HUNTRESS (C Zackey), which was carried in by MASTER'S LADY (M Yeni), which shifted in away from the crop from the 200m, was steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of FAR BEYOND (P Mxoli). Jockey M Yeni appeared before the Board and was advised to make more of an effort to keep his mounts straight in future. d) FAR BEYOND, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer T Zackey was advised.
