THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AMAZING COLOURS (MK Katjedi) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (14h09) b) HENRY'S HEDGE (E Webber) was hanging in from the 600m, was corrected at approximately the 150m and thereafter, shifted out away from the crop and made contact with GEORGE HANDEL (X Ndlovu). Jockey E Webber appeared before the Board and was advised to take stronger corrective measures to keep his mounts on a straight course in future. c) Jockey MK Katjedi reported that he felt something amiss with AMAZING COLOURS. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Trainer SB Kotzen was advised to report back should she find anything amiss with this mare on her return to the stables. d) HOME REEF, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SB Kotzen was advised.
