THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AMAYAH (G Wright) was fractious in the stalls and got its right hind leg stuck on the running board. AMAYAY (G Wright) was taken out, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and withdrawn. b) LADY AMBER (*S Bungane) and KUBU (*N Yuen) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) ROYAL STYLE (D Ashby) proved difficult proceeding to the start and was led riderless by a Handler, causing a delay. Trainer C Bass was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future engagements, she may be suspended. b) Approaching the 1000m, LADY AMBER (*S Bungane) rolled out away from the inside running rail and bumped ROYAL STYLE (D Ashby). Shortly thereafter, the saddle on ROYAL STYLE, which commenced to hang outwards, slipped forward, placing Jockey D Ashby at a disadvantage. As a consequence, ROYAL STYLE (D Ashby) raced wide on the turn and finished tailed off. c) At the 200m REDLIGHT LANE (G Lerena) shifted in sharply away from the crop and had to be straightened. d) KUBU (*N Yuen) was hanging out in the latter stages. e) In view of the report from the Starter regarding AMAYAH (G Wright), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable in the stalls with a companion. (Suspension dates: 11/11/2025 to 17/11/2025 inclusive) AMAYAH may not be presented for re-passing during this period. f) KATTEKWAADKWADRAAD, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
