THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ROYAL CITY GIRL (W Agrella) and SHORI KAI (C Little) were stubborn loading. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h23) b) SHORI KAI (C Little) was hanging out from the 250m. c) WHITE WATERS (M van Rensburg) and ROYAL CITY GIRL (W Agrella) simultaneously shifted outwards away from their crops from the 300m to the 100m. Jockey W Agrella lodged an objection on behalf of the 2nd- placed horse ROYAL CITY GIRL against the 1st -placed WHITE WATERS (M van Rensburg) on the grounds of intimidation at the 300m and the 100m. The Objection Board, after giving regard to the evidence put forward, reviewing the patrol films and considering the margin of 0,05 of a length between the two horses concerned, was satisfied that ROYAL CITY GIRL (W Agrella) would not have finished ahead of WHITE WATERS (M van Rensburg) had this incident not occurred and therefore overruled the Objection. Jockey W Agrella's deposit was refunded. d) An Inquiry will be opened into Jockey C Little's behaviour at the start. e) WHITE WATERS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer WGC Miller was advised.
