THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SUN IN MY POCKET (C F Dicken) became restless as the start was effected. b) ROCK ME BABY (S Veale) lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) A race review was called into the start of this race where it was established that SUN IN MY POCKET (C F Dicken) became restless as the start was effected. After viewing the Patrol Film of the start, the Board was satisfied that the handler allocated to SUN IN MY POCKET (C F Dicken) had released this filly timeously and therefore took no further action. Trainer W Whitehead will be advised to take the necessary corrective measures to improve this filly's behaviour in the stalls. b) PRESSURE POINT (M Thackeray) raced green. c) EASTERN HIGHLANDS (R A Venniker) raced wide around the turn and thereafter hung in, in the concluding stages. d) PLACE OF PRACTICE (S Khumalo) hung out from the 300m. e) CAPTAIN VENTURA (C Murray) took an awkward stride in the concluding stages.
