THE STARTER REPORTED: a) RED SPICE (L Mxothwa) was stubborn loading and restless in the stalls. b) SOUNDSOFSYMPHONIES (*S Bungane) and CHAMPAGNE CASTLE (R Fourie) jumped slow, losing one length. c) VULCAN ROCK (C Zackey) jumped inwards. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) MARSEILLES (A Domeyer) was late in the parade ring as the girth and surcingle did not fit and had to be changed. b) After being slow to begin CHAMPAGNE CASTLE (R Fourie) was momentarily inconvenienced on the inside of VULCAN ROCK (C Zackey), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) IN THE AIR TONIGHT (*B Plaatjies) raced green and was hanging out from the 400m. d) MARSEILLES (A Domeyer) was hanging out in the latter stages. e) In view of the report from the Starter regarding RED SPICE (L Mxothwa), this colt's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as he proves to be tractable to load on terms with a companion. (Suspension dates: 23/11/2025 to 29/11/2025 inclusive) RED SPICE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. f) QUERARI DANCER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
