THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE 30-MINUTE INTERVAL BETWEEN RACES. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ROMILLY (G Lerena) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey J Penny (COMING IN HOT) did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. Thereafter, Jockey J Penny reported that this gelding changed stride continually in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. b) Jockey K Matsunyane (SAIL THE SKY) did not persevere with his riding from the 200m. Thereafter, Jockey K Matsunyane reported that he felt something amiss with this gelding in running.
