THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LADY OF FATE (G van Niekerk) and BURNING DESIRE (R Fourie) jumped slow, losing one length. b) IONA CASTLE (S Veale) was slow into stride. c) LITTLE NIMBUS (G Wright) reared in the stalls and again as the start was effected. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) The Stewards reviewed the start with regard to LITTLE NIMBUS (G Wright) in stall gate 3 and established that LITTLE NIMBUS had reared as the start was effected and had dislodged Jockey G Wright. After reviewing the footage, the Stewards were satisfied that this incident was as a result of this filly's own behaviour and declared LITTLE NIMBUS a runner. In view of the report from the Starter regarding LITTLE NIMBUS (G Wright), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended for 7 days in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be tractable to load on terms with a companion. (Suspension dates: 27/11/2025 to 03/12/2025 inclusive) LITTLE NIMBUS may not be presented for re-passing during this period. b) Apprentice B Plaatjies reported that GUTSY BABY did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) GIVEN TO FLY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C Bass was advised.
