THE STARTER REPORTED: a) A fair start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DM) : a) At the 150m CAPSAICIN (R A Venniker) was bumped by KITCHAKAL (S Veale) which was directed away from the heels of WINTER GAMES (M Thackeray) which shifted both ways from the crop from the 300m. b) Jockey K de Melo reported that he felt something amiss in the running with ROSH KEDESH. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) Jockey C Murray (GO GRAYSON GO) did not persevere with his riding from the 150m. Thereafter Jockey C Murray reported that he felt something amiss in the running with this colt. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. Trainer F Greyling will be asked to report back on the condition of this colt on return to stables. d) WINTER GAMES (M Thackeray), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
