THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STAR FALL (*E J Muller) was restless in the stalls. b) RAMBUNCTIOUS ROB (S Veale) and A M C SELVAN (*S Valjalo) lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) As the start was effected A M C SELVAN (*S Valjalo) was brushed out by RAMBUNCTIOUS ROB (S Veale) which jumped outwards leaving the starting stalls. Thereafter RAMBUNCTIOUS ROB (S Veale) and A M C SELVAN (*S Valjalo) failed to muster speed on debut and trailed the field throughout. b) DUNGEON MASTER (*D Pillay) raced wide on the latter part of the turn and into the straight. c) Apprentice E J Muller (STAR FALL) completed a satisfactory qualifying ride. d) GORGEOUS BOMB (*B Soodoo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
