THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BERRY'S BOOGIE (AUS) (G van Niekerk) was resaddled at the start. b) EDUCATOR (S Veale) was reluctant to load and thereafter was slow into stride. c) ANOTHER DREAM (L Mxothwa) took an awkward stride leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) BABELICIOUS (G Lerena) shifted out continually from the 200m to the finish. b) In view of the performance of LOCK AND KEY (C Little), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) The saddle on BERRY'S BOOGIE (AUS) (G van Niekerk) slipped back in running. This was confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon. d) In view of the report from the Starter regarding EDUCATOR (S Veale), Trainer DM Kannemeyer will be advised to have this filly re-schooled prior to her next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. e) BABELICIOUS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
