THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DYNASTY'S LAST (C Zackey) was stubborn loading. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (14h34) b) Permission was granted for BUDDLEJA (C Habib) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start. c) The start of this race was delayed due to the starting stalls having to be repositioned on the track and retested. d) Shortly after the start, ALLEYAH'S ROCKET (L Mxothwa), which jumped inwards and MATTS ROCKET (*G Dookhit), which jumped outwards, came together and bumped. e) Shortly after the start BUDDLEJA (C Habib) was bumped inwards by MISSOURI FLAME (M Yeni). f) ROCKIE BLUE (R Fourie) was hanging out from the 300m. g) TIPSY (W Agrella) raced green. h) Jockey E Webber was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use of the crop) in that as the rider of ENGELANDPARK he misused his crop by striking ENGELANDPARK more than 12 times (14) which was not warranted when considering the circumstances of the race. Jockey E Webber signed an admission of guilt and was fined R4 000,00. i) DYNASTY'S LAST, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer JVA Strydom was advised.
