THE STARTER REPORTED: a) O SPACE O (C Zackey) was stubborn loading and slow into stride. b) LATIN QUARTER (A Fortune) was stubborn loading and jumped slow, losing one length. c) TOP DOLLAR was fractious in the stalls and Apprentice G Dookhit accidentally dropped his crop, which was retrieved by a Handler. d) MYSTIC VISION (S Naidoo) and KLEIN JAN (E Webber) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h55) b) Permission was granted for O SPACE O (C Zackey) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start. c) TOP DOLLAR (*G Dookhit) stumbled badly leaving the stalls and made contact with O SPACE O (C Zackey). d) Jockey MK Katjedi reported that PILGRIM made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. e) In view of the debut performance of LATIN QUARTER (A Fortune), which finished tailed off, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. f) BAHAMIAN BEAT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
