THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PAS DE NOM (*N Nastili) jumped slow, losing approximately three lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (13h57) b) EL ROMIACHI was hanging in from the 300m and thereafter, Apprentice B Soodoo briefly got his crop entangled in his reins at the 200m. c) Jockey M Yeni did not persevere with his riding of ANDY COOGLE from the 200m and thereafter reported that this gelding did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) In view of the report from the Starter regarding PAS DE NOM (*N Nastili), Trainer JVA Strydom was advised to have this gelding re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. e) MR FOX, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
