PAVLOVA PROJECT and DENIM EN JEANS were stubborn loading. ABBY GAIL was stubborn loading and thereafter was slow losing one length. RETAIL THERAPY, CAPE STARLING and DENIM EN JEANS were slow losing one length. PERSICA hung out from the 400m to the 200m and thereafter shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. Jockey Maujean, the rider of RETAIL THERAPY, and Apprentice Gates, the rider of PAVLOVA PROJECT, reported that their respective mounts made abnormal respiratory noises in running. MAKARA and ST JOSEPH'S LILY (ZIM) were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MISS BONAPARTE raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind. Vet: RETAIL THERAPY - speedy cut left hind, no respiratory noise detected post race. PAVLOVA PROJECT - no respiratory noise detected postrace.
