THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LOVING PRAGUE (AUS) (A Domeyer) was restless in the stalls. b) KELP FOREST (C Habib) and FOLLOW YOUR HEART (A Fortune) were slow into stride. c) IRELAND FOREVER (S Veale) jumped inwards and made contact with LOVING PRAGUE (AUS) (A Domeyer). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h59) b) ELSINORE (M Yeni) raced in isolation on the outside of the racecourse. c) Leaving the 500m SURGE OF POWER (*B Plaatjies) was steadied briefly when close to the heels of MATCH THAT (O Murphy). d) At the 250m IRELAND FOREVER (S Veale) was carried outwards by FOLLOW YOUR HEART (A Fortune) and made contact with the hindquarters of KELP FOREST (C Habib). e) At the 150m STREET OUTLAW (R Piechulek) rolled out and had to be steadied away from the heels of AZZURRI (C Murray). f) MATCH THAT (O Murphy) was continually held up for a clear run between the 250m and the finish. g) The saddle on SURGE OF POWER (*B Plaatjies) slipped back in running. This was confirmed by the Veterinary Surgeon. h) In view of the performance of LOVING PRAGUE (AUS) (A Domeyer) (Betting 11/2; Distance 5.75 lengths), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. i) KELP FOREST, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
