THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WILD AT WAR (K de Melo) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. b) PERILLA (S Moodley) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DM) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start WILD AT WAR (K de Melo) was brushed in by OFFICER IN COMMAND (C Murray) which jumped in leaving the stalls. Thereafter WILD AT WAR (K de Melo) proved difficult to settle in the early stages. c) Shortly after the start QUEUE WING (S Hlengwa) was buffeted between DYLAN'S CHAMP (T Godden) and ROSH KEDESH (K Matsunyane). d) DYLAN'S CHAMP (T Godden) commenced to hang in from the 400m. In view of this, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) The saddle on DYLAN'S CHAMP (T Godden) slipped backwards in the running. This was confirmed by the Patrol Film. f) In view of the performance of CLEVER TREVOR (S Veale) (9.65 lengths, 11/2 in the betting) the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. g) FUTURE FLO (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer G van Zyl (Jnr) was advised (MM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) DIANI raced equipped with blinkers (advised 04.02.2026/07h25). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
