THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ANGEL'S OASIS (K Matsunyane) was restless in the stalls and thereafter jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. b) TANA MAREE (M K Katjedi) was slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) BLUSHING BLOOM (K de Melo) was baulked for a clear run from the 400m to the 200m. c) At approximately the 300m, SEASON'S GREETINGS (G Lerena) was bumped in by MISS NOVAX (C Zackey), which hung in from the 400m. d) Jockey M K Katjedi reported that TANA MAREE did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) SEASON'S GREETINGS (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
