FREE AGENT kicked the back gate in the stalls. MANGROVE was nervous and fly jumped leaving the stalls. ARANJUEZ was stubborn loading. Shortly before the start of this race was effected, the electrical plug to the gates was accidentally removed from its power point. This resulted in one of the course workers having to check the mechanical box on the gates prior to the start being effected. Whilst this worker was positioned on the inside of stall gate 1 when the field jumped, the Board was satisfied that no horses were prejudiced by his location. DESERT CHIEF over-raced in the early and middle stages. Thereafter, this gelding shifted out away from the crop at the 200m. Jockey Cheyne reported that he felt something amiss with ARANJUEZ in the running. STORY OF MY LIFE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ARANJUEZ - not striding out right fore.
