THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SEAFARER (C Little) and CAN WE START (C Murray) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DM) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly before the finish PSYCHE (T Godden) which raced green, was carried out marginally by RED CARDINAL (R A Venniker) which shifted out away from the crop. c) In view of the performance of DONMAGOO (A Fortune) which was not persevered with from the 400m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) Jockey C Little reported that SEAFARER made an abnormal respiratory noise in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) RED CARDINAL (R A Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer W Whitehead was advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) SEAFARER raced equipped with blinkers (advised 16.02.2026/06h44). b) DONMAGOO raced equipped with cheek pieces (advised 14.02.2026/13h42).
